That's spooky. Something similar happened to me this morning too.
My Open List has disappeared. If I click the Open button, the button appears to be clicked but nothing opens. If I dock the open list, at first the bookmark bar appeared but had no icons in it. Later, after I tried some things to fix it, the bookmark bar just failed to appear at all.
I tried to fix bookmark.nsf using fixup, updall, and compact. That didn't help.
I replaced the design of bookmark.nsf. That didn't help.
I stopped Notes, renamed bookmark.nsf, and restarted Notes. It created a new bookmark.nsf database. But the Open List still doesn't appear.
I looked at bookmark.nsf in Domino Designer. There I can see (in both of the Bookmarks databases) the outline named UserBookmarkOrder, and it has all of my bookmarks in it, just as I had arranged them.
But they don't display anymore. Don't know what to do next except uninstall/reinstall Notes. I got up early this Saturday morning hoping to get some work done. This wasn't what I had in mind at all.
